Overwatch's anticipated competitive mode arrives today on PC. Things kick off with a shorter season before things enter the normal three-month rotation. She can protect her sniping spot - that she gets to more easily with Grappling Hook - via the Venom Mines, doesn't suffer up close thanks to the power of an easily accessible sub-machine gun and her headshots charge quickly and kill off most characters in one. But inevitably I can't help thinking about what I would like to see added to it, and to be honest new characters aren't particularly high up the list (although they are welcome). By attempting to push the cynicism out of competitive gaming, Overwatch Hack is working towards the seemingly impossible. In Competitive Play, leaving a game early or stepping away from your computer during a match will make you ineligible to join a new game until the original match has been completed. But Competitive Play works slightly differently to standard Quick Play and there are some things you should know. All 12 maps are present in ranked play at the moment, and each style of map essentially has its own unique competitive format. The game noticeably features no in-game scoreboard at all, and even after a match, you're only shown stats for the best four players in the match, and only the things they did well.
Overwatch is Blizzard's first foray into first-person-shooter action; a fast-paced, class-based multiplayer game set in a highly-stylised future vision of Earth Players fight for objectives against an opposing team choosing from 21 different ‘heroes' with specialised skills, from hulking defensive knights to speedy offensive infiltrators. If you are using a gun or a rifle outfitted with a standard Picatinny (the most common) rail system, the Overwatch rail mount will attach your smartphone directly to the side of your weapon.
